Amanda, Thanks for the Bluberry/Rhubarb jam recipe. Since I am only one in the house to eat rhubarb I,m looking for ways to use all mine. And since I can't have reg. jelly, am looking for sugar free 'I 'm going to try with splenda . Mom doesn ''t know if it will thicken. I 'll keep you posted!

I had some amazing blueberries in Maine this summer. I wish that I had saved some so that I could have made the jam - it sounds delicious. I love your #4 - my husband is a wonderful cook and thankfully is also a very experienced "canner." He would have done a great job with my blueberries!

Thanks for the Blueberry-Rhubarb Jam recipe. My husband hates rhubarb, but I had some of the best rhubarb cake in Germany in June. It seems rhubarb is big in Germany and lots are grown in the north eastern part. You are correct, blueberry jam by itself is tasteless and way too sweet. Unless the berries are somewhat tart, one needn't use so much sugar. I haven't found any good tasting blueberries so far this summer. I try them from every farmer's market that I can, so far, not too bluberry tasting or sweet enough. It's great to have a mate that loves to cook as much as you do. Thanks again for the recipe. Will try it.
