Fries from Scratch
Sometimes a girl just needs some fries—definitely with a burger, and maybe with some fish. So, when I am cooking at home and in desperate need of fries, I make this recipe, which is exceedingly simple, easy, and delicious. There have never been leftovers. Ever.
Ingredients:
6 potatoes
¼ cup olive oil
Salt to taste

The Super Bowl is this weekend. (I don’t need to tell you that!) I’m not a big watcher of the game, but I do love my wings. I know that sounds weird, but that’s how I felt about it today when I ate three bowls right before a long nap. I actually don’t like oysters very much. I prefer to swallow them whole. Chewing them is just too gross. But fresh oysters are essential to give the stew its oceany goodness. A few bowls and a few swallowed-whole oysters and I am one happy woman. My kids love the… more
