14 Days of Summer, a Meditation:
Day Six

Rainbows: Healing

Often after a rain in the summer comes a rainbow. The rainbow is a reminder that there is hope and healing after a storm and also a reminder that sometimes you need a storm before you can have a rainbow. The rainbow contains the entire spectrum of light, colors that also mirror the chakras in our body. The chakras are a good way to check into your heart and soul and see what might need healing in your life.

What needs healing in your life? How can you make the changes necessary to heal on your own rather than waiting for a storm or a crisis to make something happen? What would your life feel like and be like if you were totally healed in mind, body, heart, and soul? Use the rainbow as your guide.

Make sure to come back tomorrow!

This is so timely. My family lost two dogs in eight weeks – one yesterday. The day each passed there was a storm followed by a rainbow. I do believe the rainbows were a sign. We are grieving now, but know the days ahead will bring hope and healing. Thank you so much for this mediation.

I experienced the same thing about a year ago when I lost my beloved dog, Hailey. A storm came followed by a rainbow. Although I have healed from her passing, I will never forget her, especially when I see a rainbow.
